A bevel gear is a variation of the conventional gearwheel. In contrast to the common gearwheel, the gear teeth are not located on the outer edge. A bevel wheel is a conically formed and has the teeth on the angled surface. As with conventional gearwheels, this serves the transfer of power, speed, and torque momentum.
